As you listen to the Audio Teachings or attend services at Spoken Word Bible Church, you will learn how important speaking life, healing, and the Word of God is in our daily Christian lives.  Sometimes situations come up in the course of a day that we need to know the scriptures and promises of God that apply to the circumstances.  Below is an easy reference to useful confessions to speak in the face of challenges and the scripture(s) to back them up.

HEALING SCRIPTURES

  • Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, for He became a curse for me. Sickness and disease is under the curse and therefore I am redeemed from it, according to Galatians 3:13-14
  • On the Cross of Calvary, Jesus bore all my sicknesses and carried all my diseases according to Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:17
  • God restores my health and heals my wounds – Jeremiah 30:17
  • God is not the One who brings disease upon me, for He is the LORD who heals me – Exodus 15:26
  • God’s will is for me, is to live in divine health – 3 John 2
  • God’s Word is health and healing to my body – Proverbs 4:22
  • God is not the author of sickness and disease, because everything God does is good. Therefore, it is not God’s will for me to be sick – Genesis 1:31
  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 says that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and not a temple for sickness and disease.
  • 1 Corinthians 6:20 says Jesus purchased me at a price and I am to honour God with my body. Therefore, I walk in divine health and every organ, fibre, vessel, muscle and bone in my body, is functioning the way God intended it to.
  • Proverbs 4:24 says I must keep my mouth from perversity and keep corrupt talk far from my lips. Therefore, I refuse to say I am sick.
  • Mark 11:23 says I have what I say, therefore I say that I have received my healing
  • Jesus’ Body was given, so that I can receive the healing, He purchased for me on the Cross – Matthew 26:26; 1 Corinthians 11:24
  • Jesus was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and power, to do good and heal all who were oppressed of the devil. Sickness and disease is satanic oppression and therefore I refuse, to accept sickness and disease on my body – Acts 10:38
  • God anointed Jesus and sent Him to heal the broken hearted and therefore I receive healing from broken heartedness – Luke 4:18
  • Healing is God’s will and He will not withhold it from me, even though I may not be perfect – James 5:14:15
  • No matter how much pressure my body is under, I will continue to confess that Jesus has healed me and I receive my healing – Mark 5:28
  • Jesus is my Healer, the Son of righteousness, with healing in His wings – Malachi 4:2
  • I will not consider my body, nor will I waver through unbelief, regarding the promise of God. I am strengthened in faith and give glory to God for my healing – Romans 4:19-20
  • In my right hand is length of days and in my left hand, riches and honour – Proverbs 3:16
  • The LORD delivers me, from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence – Psalm 91:3
  • I am not afraid of the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor of the plague that destroys at midday – Psalm 91:6
  • With long life God satisfies me and He shows me His salvation – Psalm 91:16
  • I am fully persuaded that God has the power to do, what He has promised. Healing is my promise from God and I receive it now – Romans 4:21
  • I receive the promises of God through faith and patience. Therefore, I release faith where my healing is concerned and allow patience to do its work – Hebrews 10:36
  • By the stripes of Jesus, I receive my healing and my wholeness – Isaiah 53:5

 


 

FINANCIAL PROSPERITY SCRIPTURES

  • Christ has redeemed me, from the curse of the law, for He became a curse for me. Poverty and lack is under the curse and therefore I am redeemed from it, according to Galatians 3:13-14
  • 3 John 2 says that financial prosperity is God’s will for my life, therefore I must prosper.
  • Psalm 35:27 says that God takes pleasure in my prosperity. It is His will for me to prosper financially.
  • Psalm 66:12 says there is an abundant place, in God, for my life.
  • As I seek the face of God, He is the one who supplies the gold and the silver – Job 22:21-25
  • Proverbs 11:24 says my giving and my sowing leads to increase, but withholding leads to poverty.
  • I am a bountiful giver; therefore, I always receive a bountiful harvest – 2 Corinthians 9:6
  • I am a cheerful giver to the work of the LORD Jesus – 2 Corinthians 9-7
  • God supplies for me abundantly, so that I can give to every good work – 2 Corinthians 9-8
  • I give to the poor and needy and my righteousness endures forever – 2 Corinthians 9:9
  • Jesus supplies seed for me to sow. He provides good food to eat and He multiplies my seed, so I can give more – 2 Corinthians 9:10
  • I am not a lover of money, but a lover of Jesus. I use money to bless and help establish the Kingdom of God on this earth – 1 Timothy 6:10
  • God gives me all good things richly to enjoy, so that I can give to every good work. I am a distribution centre, always ready to give and ready to communicate – 1Timothy 6:17
  • Deuteronomy 8:18 says God has given me the ability to get wealth, so that, I may establish His Kingdom on this earth.
  • God has made me a great nation. He has blessed me and made my name great, so that I can be a blessing – Genesis 12:2-3
  • As the seed of Abraham I am wealthy in livestock, silver and gold – Genesis 13:2
  • As a tither, the windows of heaven are open to me and God has poured out His favour in my life – Malachi 3:10-11
  • The Word of God says, Jesus is the One, who receives the tithe I bring, according to Hebrews 6:20; Hebrews 7:17; Genesis 14:18-21
  • I honour God with my wealth and first fruit of my increase. Therefore, my barns are filled, to overflowing and my vats filled with new wine – Proverbs 3:9-10
  • The blessing of the LORD makes me rich without painful toil – Proverbs 10:22
  • Wealth and riches are in my house and my righteousness endures forever – Psalm 112:3
  • As I go forth doing God’s will in my life, I lack nothing – Luke 22:35
  • 1 Kings 17:2-5 says because I am following God’s plan for my life, I am fully supplied.
  • I am giving to the work of the LORD; therefore, My God meets my every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:15-19
  • In my right hand is length of days and in my left hand riches and honour – Proverbs 3:16
  • The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want – Psalm 23:1
  • My heavenly Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills, therefore I lack nothing – Psalm 50:10
  • All the silver and all the gold belongs to my heavenly Father; I have lack of nothing – Haggai 2:8
  • The righteous will never be forsaken and his seed will never beg for bread – Psalm 37:25
  • Jesus Christ went to the Cross, to redeem me from poverty, so that I could be abundantly supplied and fully provided for – 2 Corinthians 8:9
  • The LORD has granted me abundant prosperity – Deuteronomy 28:11
  • The LORD blesses the work of my hands and I lend to many nations, but will not borrow – Deuteronomy 28:12
  • The LORD has made me the head and not the tail and I am financially above and never beneath – Deuteronomy 28:13

 


 

  DELIVERANCE FROM FEAR

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 says God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind.
  • I am not double minded. I refuse to release fear out of my mouth, I only release faith out of my mouth – James 1:8
  • I refuse to fear. I believe the Word of God – Mark 5:36
  • Fear is meditating on the lies of the devil, but faith is meditating on the promises of God – Joshua 1:8
  • As a Believer, the love of God is in me and His love casts out fear – 1 John 4:18
  • Fear will torment you, therefore, I refuse to fear – 1 John 4:18
  • Proverbs 8:13 says the fear of the LORD is not the spirit of fear, but a respect for the things of God.
  • I cast down any thought of fear and destruction, that Satan tries to attack my mind with – 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
  • Daniel 10:12 commands me not to fear. Therefore, I refuse to fear.
  • 1 John 4:4 says greater is the Holy Spirit that is within me, than the devil that is in the world.
  • The Bible says that Jesus will never leave me nor forsake me, so I do not need to be afraid – Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5
  • I do not have to fear, for the LORD is my light and my salvation. He is the strength of my life and I don’t have to be afraid – Psalm 27:1
  • The Holy Spirit lives within me, therefore I do not have to be afraid – John 14:17
  • I dwell in the secret place of the most High and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty – Psalm 91:1
  • The LORD is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Whom I trust – Psalm 91:2
  • The LORD delivers me from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence – Psalm 91:3
  • The LORD covers me with His feathers and under His wings I take refuge. His truth is my shield and my rampart – Psalm 91:4
  • I do not fear the terror by night, nor the arrows that fly by day – Psalm 91:5
  • I am not afraid of the pestilence that walks in the darkness, nor of the plague that destroys at midday – Psalm 91:6
  • A thousand may fall at my side. Ten thousand may fall at my right hand side, but evil will not come near me – Psalm 91:7
  • I will only see disaster come upon the wicked – Psalm 91:8
  • The LORD is my refuge and my dwelling place. Therefore, no harm will overtake me and no disaster comes near my house – Psalm 91:9-10
  • The LORD has commanded His angels to guard and protect me. They hold me up so that I will not strike my foot against a stone– Psalm 91:11-12
  • I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, I will trample upon the great lion and the serpent – Psalm 91:13
  • The LORD rescues me and protects me. He knows me by my name because He loves me – Psalm 91:14
  • When I call upon the LORD he answers me. He is with me in trouble, He delivers me and honours me – Psalm 91:15
  • He satisfies me with long life and shows me His deliverance – Psalm 91:16
  • I am strong and courageous. I am not afraid, for the LORD God is with me wherever I go – Joshua 1:9
  • I am the seed of Abraham; therefore, I do not fear for God is with me – Genesis 26:24 Galatians 3:29
  • I do not fear my enemies, for the LORD Himself fights for me – Deuteronomy 3:22
  • I am not afraid of my enemies, for they may come against me one way, but the LORD will cause them to flee seven ways – Deuteronomy 28:7
  • The LORD goes with me; I am not afraid. I am strong and courageous. The LORD will not leave me nor forsake me – Deuteronomy 31:8 1 Chronicles 28:20
  • I am not afraid for the angels of the LORD are protecting me – 2 Kings 6:16
  • The LORD has sent forth His angels, to minister to me, for I am an heir unto salvation – Hebrews 1:14
  • Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident – Psalm 27:3
  • Psalm 118:6 says The LORD is on my side, I will not fear. What can man do to me?
  • I will not fear, for the God who formed me, will deliver me – Isaiah 43:1
  • Isaiah 54:14 says in righteousness I am established, I am far from oppression.
    I will not fear for terror will not come near me.
  • No weapon formed against me will prosper – Isaiah 54:17
  • I will not allow my heart to be troubled – Matthew 24:5; John 14:1
